Judy Keller

Judy S. Keller, CFRE, is a nonprofit management and fundraising consultant with more than 25 years of experience advancing philanthropy.

Judy has gained a unique perspective from her experience serving the nonprofit sector in a variety roles, including trustee, staff member and volunteer.

Prior to joining Jeffrey Byrne & Associates, Inc., Judy was executive director of the American Lung Association of Kansas. During her 12-year tenure she directed strategies resulting in increased philanthropic revenue sources, expanded funding for research, and tripled the organization’s assets. She directed the successful merger of five Associations and was a leader in the nationwide organization’s restructuring. Judy is past president of the Congress of Lung Association Staff Governing Council, a national association made up of the nearly 1,000 American Lung Association staff members. In 1998 Keller was honored with that organization’s Excellence Award for financial development.

Judy has also served as development director for the Lawrence, Kan. public radio station, KANU-FM; assistant director of major gifts at the University of Miami; and executive director at High Plains Public Radio.

Keller stays deeply involved in her community through volunteer service with a variety of organizations. She is past president of the Kansas Asthma Coalition, Tobacco Free Kansas Coalition, and the Kansas Public Radio Association. She currently is serving as a board member of the Lawrence Schools Foundation, and is a member of the board of trustees for Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

Keller has earned designation as a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Kansas.
